With its intricate yet 'solid-looking' design, the Ivy bracelet is both beautiful and eye-catching. It's not hard to see why it is one of our bestsellers!
One day, a customer asked for a mix of onyx and amethyst gemstones in hers and so here is the result! A beautiful sterling silver bracelet with stunning grape-like gemstones- we liked it so much we made it a staple here at Pinksilver HQ!
Amethyst is extravagance in violet. For many thousands of years it has been coveted by princes, popes, bishops and cardinals around the world. It is meant to bring in good fortune, drive out evil spirits and inspire the intellect. We're not sure about any of these claims, but we are sure that it is both a beautiful and an amazingly versatile stone.
Onyx was very popular with the ancient Greeks and Romans. The name comes from the Greek word 'onyx', which means nail or claw. The story is that one day the frisky Cupid cut the divine fingernails of Venus with an arrowhead while she was sleeping. He left the clippings scattered on the sand and the fates turned them into stone so that no part of the heavenly body would ever perish.
Black isn't normally the colour one associates with fingernails (unless you work in Greenwich market...)
And there's your accompanying story!
We can also make this bracelet with any stone or selection of stones you so desire!
