Yes, there are some men who are brilliant at buying for their wives or girlfriends, but the amount of times I've had panic-stricken boyfriends and husbands looking desperately for something to please their partners without having a clue about what they're looking for, what their partner would like, not even a rough idea about the size of their partner's digit or wrist: 'Errr, I think it's about this big....'
Well never fear! Because help is at hand!
If you don't know your partner's favourite colour well then you should be ashamed of yourself (only joking) but really, we're not here to tell you off, we're here to help you without resorting to calling her in and ruining the surprise!
We want to make it as easy as possible for you to treat her, please her or just get yourself out of the doghouse. So, we have created our very own 'Poptags' system. This is a selection of random words, hopefully one will jump out and remind you of your beloved, be it the word 'pink', 'STATEMENT' or even 'blue eyes'. Then up will pop a selection of pieces which we deem suitably associated with that particular word.
If you have a week or so to get her something, notice what other jewellery she likes to wear, is it big and chunky or fine and delicate? What colours does she like to wear, bold and bright or subtle and muted?
If you have even longer (and we don't condone stealing...but) BORROW a piece of her jewellery which she loves and show it to us, so we can get an idea about her taste, style and size.
If you are STILL confused, arrange an appointment with us, and one of the girls will assert her own suggestions and take you through our collections personally.
And then if, despite all our efforts, and yours, your partner doesn't like the piece (and this hardly ever happens of course!) you can still bring it back in the same condition for a full refund or exchange within 30 days.
The tags 'bend' and 'backwards' spring to mind here! :)
